I have been practicing since 1991 and have worked in various settings including in- and outpatient psychiatry, research, and teaching. I completed my medical training at the University of Cologne and further specialized in psychiatry and psychotherapy in Germany. I have held several academic positions, including a professorship at the University of Sydney since 2017.
